THE WORK OF NAARM (AKA MELBOURNE) BASED MURALIST, ILLUSTRATOR & PAINTER – HAYDEN DEWAR
Murals, illustration and paintings by Hayden Dewar
Hayden Dewar is a Naarm/Melbourne-based artist and muralist with over 20 years of experience. He is best known for his vibrant, surreal murals, and also creates studio paintings and illustrations in a similar style. His murals can be found throughout Naarm and beyond, turning public spaces, schools, shopfronts and any surface that comes his way into imaginative, otherworldly scenes.
Much of his work reads like a chapter book in an ongoing story about a strange world inhabited by his signature characters, the Solarquins: guardians of nature and seekers of harmony, painted alongside local native plants, animals and mementos of history or a place.
Much of Hayden’s work is completed for LGA councils. For more about this please see this detailed info on “Council, school and community murals”
