Mural project for City of Glen Eira

Located at the corner of Centre rd & Vickerey street Bentleigh. This mural together with street art workshops was commissioned by City of Glen Eira as part of their “Brightening Bentleigh” mural and street art program.

The brief was to create a nature based mural. After brainstorming ideas with young workshop participants, the final design was a surreal scene featuring local native flora & fauna and the inhabitants of floating islands that convey the idea of the ‘journey’. Both floating towards your destination and literally residing on a floating home.
