A commission for Coles Supermarkets 150th anniversary, specifically for the entrance of their Richmond Icon Store which is in the same location as the Dimmeys Mural that I painted some time ago.
The brief was to reference some of Dimmeys history (including the iconic clock-tower building), and to have the artwork tie in with and be in a similar style to the outdoor mural just meters away from where the painting hangs.
The result is a montage of imagery that depicts Coles journey from humble beginnings to the Supermarket giant.
