Mulgrave community themed mural

Mural for City of Monash in Mulgrave

A mural commissioned by City of Monash  depicting themes of ‘community’ and ‘multiculturalism’. I created a design that portrayed a representation of the diverse background of Mulgrave residents – these character portraits are intended to convey this diversity and the resulting vibrant community. I combined this with some reference of the local flora and native birds that inhabit the surrounding area to evoke an image of a community in harmony with nature.
